ZED'S FANZINE

İlkin Zeybek publishes a zine called Zed's Fanzine, which includes various works by queer artists based in Istanbul.

ZED'S FANZINE and its photo series were designed to open an alternative window to the daily practices of LGBTQ+s, who are directly affected by Turkey's conservative structure and are systematically targeted for merely existing. 

Separating this piece from a traditional point of view and presenting it through an alternative frame and lighting, İlkin Zeybek also aims at presenting a platform and a voice to LGBTQ+ artists. ZED'S FANZINE draws its strength from the subjects who survive through solidarity in this heteronormative order and yet do not give up on gullüm, çark nor koli at the end of the day.
