Alive in Flames

I was one of the artists of Through the Window 2024, "TTW Sees Fire". Collaborating with Anna Tholia and Baris Erdinç Ibin, I tried to capture the spirit of resilience shown by the queer and innocent civilians in Palestine, despite the inhumane conditions going on. In the work, Anna Tholia is embracing herself under the falling rubbles and fire with a neutral face, signifying that under such chaotic conditions, surviving comes with losses.
